| Jim Toska's Cephalotus |
Back in November, I
wrote about how I was finally succeeding with Cephalotus follicularis. Well, in the past couple weeks, I've gotten the biggest pitcher yet! This plant, from the late Jim Toska, has been as easy to grow as he claimed, but, until this month, It had only had a plethora of small pitchers and leaves. There weren't any large pitchers.

Now, I've got a thimble sized pitcher open and a second large pitcher still forming. Although not as large as some of the pitchers I've seen at the NECPS show, it's much larger than any plant I've ever owned. I am very pleased that I am succeeding with this plant.

It's wonderful to see this plant doing so well. I'm very impressed. (And I'm excited to see this plant begin to till out its pot a little more fully).
