Nepenthes Pink!

Nepenthes spectabilis x hamata
I decided to do a series on pink colored highland Nepenthes. Above, you can see one of the plants I bought at the NECPS fall show, a Nepenthes spectabilis x hamata. So far, it seems to be happy in its new conditions, continuing to grow and not lose any pitchers.

Nepenthes spectabilis x jacquelineae
Here's the older pitcher on the Nepenthes spectabilis x jacquelineae. Over time, it has turned from a vibrant red and yellow to a wash of pinks.

And here's a new pitcher from that same N. spectabilis x jacquelineae. Already, you can see the red has a strong pink overtone, and there's some nice pink striping on the peristome.

Nepenthes aristolochioides x glabrata
Lastly, I had to finish up with the delicate little Nepenthes aristolochioides x glabrata. Its pitchers are tiny, delicate, and wonderful. I look forward to seeing more.
