I recently learned that the owner of Oudean's Willow Creek Nursery has decided to retire. Since I had been looking to acquire some more Darlingtonia and Oudean's was liquidating much of their stock, I decided to buy quite a few. Happily, they came through the mail in great condition!

Although these photos were taken outside, the plants will be spending winter inside, where it's a little warmer. (The day these photos were taken, it was just about 60 degrees out, which was shocking after a few days in the 30s and it snowing briefly).

I'm very excited for my cluster of carnivores! They're all in much better condition than any I've gotten elsewhere, and, frankly, were cheaper for the size. I'm excited to try them in some new conditions next year and see how they grow.

One last shot of these awesome cobras! I'll have to wait and see and if any have any cool mutations that will be worth propagating. (Or if any of my Darlingtonia seedlings will have any cool mutations. They've all started sprouting recently). And, I guess I'll finish by saying that, if you're thinking about acquiring some of these guys, you might consider reading this first.
