Lowland Tank Set-Up

Nepenthes bicalcarata and Nepenthes ampullaria
If it's not one thing, it's another, eh? Last post, I talked about how I had solved my problems with my highland set-up after a terrible summer. In doing so, I let the lowlanders get a little too cold (a problem I solved by putting them in a different room), and I hadn't realized that the 55-gallon tank they were in was leaking. As a consequence, the lowlanders got a bit too dry during the NECPS Fall show (to the point where my magnificent gracilis was all shriveled up). Subsequently, I've bought a new tank and have a better water monitor gauge.

Nepenthes ampullaria 'Bau Green' showing some damage
While most plants seem to have recovered from the drought just fine, I'm concerned about my green Nepenthes ampullaria, which seems to have had some damage done to its basal. I'm hopeful that everything will make a full recovery now that I've completely redone the lowland set-up to keep the temperatures warmer and the plants wetter.
