Intermediate/Highland Set-Up
I've been working on redoing my highland/intermediate set-up since I moved in late July. Finally, it's just about done. Much has changed. About half the collection, mostly intermediates and easier to grow highlanders are outside the tank, in heavy duty trays, misted by a cool-mist humidifier in a room that is vented by fans in fall/winter/spring and an AC in summer. Consequently, it should stay in the 45 degree - 50 degree to 75 to 80 degree range.

Highland Tank
I also have a highland tank, which has higher ambient humidity than outside the tank. Inside, reside my ultra highland collection. Since the brutal summer, they have been recovering nicely. (Even the particularly tricky Nepenthes aristolochoides and Nepenthes talangensis have started growing again).

Highland Tank 2
As you can see, the plants in the highland tank seem to be doing quite well, which is a big relief, since this summer was absolutely horrible for my highlanders.
