| The painting above the checkout desk |
One of the neatest things about Concord, New Hampshire is that the public library has a painting above its checkout desk that prominently features Sarracenia purpurea! It's really kind of a modern diptych. The other panel, below, also features native plants, but nothing carnivorous.

I can honestly say that I was quite surprised when I stopped by the checkout counter to get my library card a year ago, looked up, and saw a pitcher plant on the wall! Definitely made me want to go back to the library again!
