Lowlanders Enjoying Life!

Nepenthes mirabilis var. globosa (aka Nepenthes 'Viking')
Nepenthes mirabilis var. globosa is one of my favorite lowlanders, but it's an incredibly delicate plant. The one above suffered terribly after being taken to the NECPS show last August. All of its wonderful pitchers died, as did all but two leaves. Now, it has recovered and started to produce wonderful pink pitchers again.

Nepenthes ampullaria 'Williams Red' x 'Harlequin'
This wonderful, multi-crowned plant has now been growing in my care for almost two years. It has been an incredibly easy grower, producing many, wonderful pitchers. It is quite a plant!
Nepenthes x hookeriana
This isn't a enlarged picture. These pitchers from this Nepenthes x hookeriana are just about as big as a medium-sized hand. It's incredible! The hybrid vigor of this seed-grown plant is amazing! It grew from a tiny plant with a few pitchers smaller than thimbles to a large plant with a handful of fist-sized pitchers in less than a year and a half.

Nepenthes bicalcarata
Lastly, I wanted to share a couple shots of one of my Nepenthes bicalcaratas. I really love this species. It is just so fearsome! I can't think of a better looking Nepenthes!

Nepenthes bicalcarata
This still-growing pitcher is part of this bical's next crop. I can't wait to see it!
