Red & Gold Nepenthes

Nepenthes [(lowii x veitchii) - yellow x boschiana] x [(veitchii x maxima) x veitchii]
As I was looking around the Nepenthes collection, some red and gold colored pitchers really caught my eye. (Happily, it looks like I'll soon be able to take some photographs of some new, open red and gold Sarracenia pitchers, too. Summer is almost here!).

Nepenthes spathulata x (talangensis x spectabilis)
First up are a couple complicated crosses. The first, an EP hybrid, is new to me and is currently displaying some nice pitchers formed while at Native Exotics. It's already clear that it'll have a stripped peristome with some spectacular colors. The second plant I've had for a little while and it has really loved my intermediate conditions. I really like the red coloration of the plant's leaves, although the colors on the pitcher are not as defined as might be ideal. Still, being a cross of plants with fairly large pitchers leads me to believe that this plant has quite a bit of growing to do still.

Nepenthes glandulifera
I won this Nepenthes glandulifera in the NASC benefit auction on the Sarracenia Proboards back in February. It has done well since entering my care. (I have had a cousin, Nepenthes stenophylla for a while now). I'm excited to see that it is really starting to take off, and I'll be interested to see how its more adult pitchers compare to those of Nepenthes stenophylla.

Nepenthes x tiveyi

This Nepenthes x tiveyi is doing very well! I'm pleased to have one of these, especially one that is already displaying such great red and gold(ish) coloration. And now I'm curious to know of my readers, what plants of yours are doing well?
