Some New Bogs!

"Lee's Bog"

A few weeks ago, I decided to set up a couple new bog pots for the back deck. So, I turned to Lee's Botanical Gardens and Cooks Carnivorous Plants for some cheap plants. They've since arrived and have started settling in.

Pinguicula planifolia

I decided to pick up a southern Ping, Pinguicula planifolia, as well as a handful of Sarrs. I wonder how it will do in winter? My guess is that it may not survive, but I decided to try it anyway.

At Cook's, I bought fewer plants, but equally interesting ones. My hope is that these will also do well over winter, but we'll have to wait and see.

Right now, I'm just happy to be able to have carnivores on the back deck as well as the front deck.
