Nepenthes ventricosa
This Nepenthes ventricosa used to be look like a small plant with a tall palm tree full of pitchers next to it. Now, it's a large plant with multiple growth points. The pot is a 8" shallow pot and the plants itself is quite large. If you want to purchase this plant's sister (or brother...I'm not sure yet), you can do so
here.

Nepenthes sibuyanensis x (spectabilis x aristolochioides)
One of the many plants that I received as a cutting which then, accidentally, became unlabeled for a bit is this Nepenthes sibuyanensis x (spectabilis x aristolochioides). It took about a year-and-a-half for this plant to root, adjust to intermediate conditions, move locations, and start producing pitchers. In my experience so far, it is hesitant to pitcher, much like its sibuyanensis parent.

Nepenthes sibuyanensis x (spectabilis x aristolochioides)
One of the first pitchers produced by this plant was this deformed one. Given this plant's highland parentage and the fact that two of its parents like to be in higher humidity environment in my experience, I'm wondering if this plant would do better in higher humidity. My guess is yes, but I'll have to wait for more room in my highland tank to complete that move.

Nepenthes sibuyanensis x (spectabilis x aristolochioides)
I really enjoy the broad, sibuyanensis-type leaves of this plant and the small, aristolochioides influenced pitchers. It's really interesting to see how the higher humidity of spring and summer has caused this plant to flourish. My hope is that I'll be able to modify my intermediate set-up enough this winter to allow the plants there to flourish even in winter.

Nepenthes spathulata x ventricosa
Talk about a plant with impressive growth! This Nepenthes spathulata x ventricosa started growing like crazy two months ago. Most of this growth has occurred in that time. The 2.5" pot it is potted in is surely too small at this point. Still, this plant has not stopped pitchering.

Nepenthes spathulata x ventricosa
I do like the Nepenthes spathulata-like pitchers a lot. This plant is right beside my pure Nepenthes spathulata, which produces pitchers with green peristomes. This plant, in contrast, appears as though it will have a darker peristome.

Nepenthes 'Rokko'
Lastly, I wanted to share this Nepenthes 'Rokko'. If you've been reading my blog, you'll know that you can buy it
here. I wanted to share this plant again because it's a good illustration of a plant that can really flourish in any conditions.

Nepenthes 'Rokko'
I now have three 'Rokko', all in different stages of growth. One has green upper pitchers. One has blended intermediate pitchers. And there's this one with lower pitchers. It's really quite fantastic.
Thanks for sharing this with us! Some really amazing features. Here you can find more information perennials for sale
